When Liverpool hosts Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Sunday, Kostas Tsimikas will be in the starting lineup.

Prior to their match against Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, Liverpool will be feeling more confident and driven after their encouraging midweek victory over Toulouse in the UEFA Europa League.

Due to individual injuries, Ben Doak, Conor Bradley, Stefan Bajcetic, and Thiago Alcantara will not be available for the Reds.

Curtis Jones received a red card against Tottenham Hotspur, and as he serves the last match of his three-match Premier League suspension, he is still out.

Andrew Robertson’s shoulder surgery has left him sidelined for an extended period of time.

The players who rested in the middle of the week will probably start here, Jurgen Klopp stated in his pregame press conference.

It’s good that the boys who didn’t play on Thursday will have a formal session on Friday. Thus, they continue their training,” Klopp said, referring to the team’s Thursday–Sunday schedule for this season. “But if we would play the same team every time, as we did in the past—perhaps more frequently in the Champions League or something similar—then there would be no training at all; it would just be recovery and play again.”

So far, we’ve been able to proceed in that manner, and the fact that we don’t have too many injuries—always too many, but for the time being, it’s OK and hopefully stays that way—means that we can continue. It implies that numerous players who were inactive [against Toulouse] will

Liverpool’s usual 4-3-3 formation is probably going to be used, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kostas Tsimikas lining up at full back. The two players will try to give the team more inventiveness and defensive cover.

Alongside Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate will start in the center of defense. They will be rejuvenated for this match because they took a midweek break.

Wataru Endo is probably going to be used as the defensive midfielder in the middle of the park.

Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister want to bring more imagination and authority to the park’s center.

Darwin Nunez scored a goal in the Europa League match midweek to continue his stellar play, and he will probably start here as well.

Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah will probably be used in the expansive areas. After taking a midweek break, both players are expected to start.
