Anthony Gordon has gone to ‘another level’ at Newcastle United, according to Jamie Carragher, partly because of Harvey Barnes’ arrival and England’s victory at the under-21 European Championship.

80 appearances going back, a few for Newcastle at the end of the season and for Everton before that.
“You look at goals, assists, 432 minutes per goal or assist and the difference you see since May.
Look at that number and how much it has dropped, 123 minutes for a goal or an assist.
That puts him right up with some of the top players in the Premier League.”
