After being promoted, the 30-year-old, who left Leeds in 2014, has scored eight goals in 12 games this season.
Dom Poleon left Leeds United in 2014 after making his senior team debut; however, the striker is currently on fire with Ebbsfleet United, albeit in the National League. Poleon never really got going in a Leeds United shirt after that.
Poleon, 30, moved to Oldham from Leeds. He was a well-known participant in the “Don’t Go To Bed Just Yet” narrative. Before Matt Smith joined Fulham, he was the player Leeds had declared they had sold before sending out that tweet.
Poleon, who came through the Leeds academy, went on to play 37 senior games for Leeds, tallying four goals. Up until 2020, he had stints at Wimbledon, Bradford, Crawley, Newport, and Dover.
After being freed in the summer of 2020, Poleon spent nearly a year looking for a new club before relocating to Ebbsfleet in February 2021, where he has stayed ever since.

It was the day of his 100th match..
Dom Poleon excelling in the National League following Leeds’ 2014 departure
His incredible 35 goals in 45 games the previous season enabled Ebbsfleet to advance to the National League.
His form has held steady this season.
On Saturday, in his 100th game, he was not on the scoreboard.
Despite suffering several injuries already this season, Poleon has had an incredible start. Poleon has managed to score eight goals in 12 games.
Poleon must continue scoring for Ebbsfleet to stay in the 21st spot.
However, the forward’s return to the National League after a few years below that level has gone well.
He is obviously better than where he is at the moment, as seen by his impressive goalscoring rate.
