Extremely satisfied Brendan Rodgers says the £2 million Celtic player has been getting better lately.
After witnessing one of the Celtic players annihilate Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday, Brendan Rodgers has been gushing about the player he signed in the summer.
The manager of Celtic is impressed with Hyunjun Yang, highlighting in particular how he has eliminated the mistakes he was making in the early stages of his Celtic career.
Before making a £2 million summer transfer to Celtic, Yang was named the Young Player of the Year in South Korea. Although the 21-year-old had a slow start to the season, he has really blossomed in the last several games.
Yang gave a great cameo performance in the 2-1 victory over St Mirren at the start of November, and Dons legend Willie Miller called him “brilliant” during Sunday’s matchup with Aberdeen.
Yang is highly regarded by Jurgen Klinsmann, the head coach of the Korea national team, and it appears that Celtic made a brilliant £2 million transfer deal for him.
The team now appears to be finding both a creative spark and a killer edge, so the fans will only want to see him keep going up the ladder.
After Daizen Maeda and Liel Abada both return from injury, Yang and Luis Palma appear to be developing a great rapport down both Celtic wings, and they may cause Brendan Rodgers some selection headaches.
In other news, Martin O’Neill is defending his tenure at Nottingham Forest by making a claim regarding Henrik Larsson.
