Luis Palma, who was made to plead the fifth in a Honduran interview, has acknowledged that he never imagined hearing Celtic fans write a song in his honor.

Prior to his international duty this week, the winger touched down in his native Honduras to a media scrum.

With confidence after a goal and three assists in a 6-0 thumping of Aberdeen, he enters the CONCACAF Nations League matches with Mexico – one of which he plays in the wee hours of Wednesday, November 22, with Motherwell visiting Parkhead three days later.

He is one of the players that manager Reinaldo Rueda will look to lead the team against rivals from Mexico, but the Colombian coach has stirred controversy by declaring that the Honduran top division is of low quality.

When asked for his thoughts on the subject, Palma instantly went into reverse, but he did acknowledge that it is the responsibility of men like him to demonstrate their prowess overseas.

Palma chuckled and told LaPrensa about the top-ranked Honduran team Club Deportivo Olimpia: “You guys are killing me with those questions.”

If the instructor had said it, we could all understand why he said it based on his experience.

“You’ve seen Olimpia before… I don’t want to remark any more because I’ll become enraged and alienate people. We hope that the talented players in the League will demonstrate their abilities against Américo.

Those of us who are foreign-born must go above and beyond to demonstrate our qualifications.”

A Celtic song featuring Eminem’s Stan has been used to christen Palma, and devoted fans are surrounding the Honduran trickster with Jota-shaped objects in their lives.

Furthermore, the man is in love

“I didn’t expect them to release a song for me,” he continued.

I am grateful to the club’s supporters; they are the best I have ever had at any club.

I’m grateful, and I pray that I can keep going.

“Being a starter at Celtic, doing things well, and drawing positive attention is what I strive for.

exploiting that and applying it to the decision-making process.
