Mack Brown, Coach at UNC, Dispels Rumors of Retirement.
The Hall of Famer Brown is “full steam ahead” with the Tar Heels, according to a team spokesperson.
Raleigh, North Carolina — Through a team representative, North Carolina football coach Mack Brown denied rumors that he was planning to resign on Thursday afternoon.
UNC team spokesman Jeremy Sharpe told Inside Carolina.
“It’s that time of year, so someone is going to start this rumor in the hopes of affecting our team and/or recruiting like they’ve done the past two years.”
“Mack is going full speed ahead.
He is really scheduling recruiting visits for December and has spring practice scheduled already. Hence, no, he is not leaving.
