The explosive winger from Liverpool is performing well for his country right now.
While traveling with Egypt, Mo Salah maintained his incredible Liverpool performance. The forward won 6-0 and put on an incredible show.
This season, Mo Salah has been terrific for Liverpool. With 10 goals in his first 12 Premier League appearances, he’s on pace to surpass his personal best.
And when away from his country, the forward kept up that form. On Thursday night, Egypt defeated Djibouti 6-0, with the Liverpool player scoring four goals.
In addition, he scored the first four goals, including a hat trick shortly after the interval.
In the first game, Egypt won the ball far up the field and then played a ball down the left side. Salah was there to receive a swift pass across the box, and he tapped home.
After that, on minute 19, Egypt won a penalty. Naturally, Salah stepped up to take it, and he did so with decisiveness, slamming the ball into the top-left corner for a 2-0 score.
The third goal wasn’t all that different from the first. Once more, Egypt got space on the left, used it smartly, and Salah was able to drive the ball across the box. To effectively end the match, he pushed the ball into the net.
He wasn’t done there, though. For his fourth goal, Salah actually needed to take two touches—the only one he took.
He received a high ball in the middle of the box, controlled it with his left, spun, and sent it inside the far post.
What more could you ask for, all in all? Salah is playing exceptionally well, and it doesn’t seem like his absence from the national team will affect that.
During this time, you constantly want your stars to either find or keep their form. Salah is acting in this manner, and Manchester City won’t tolerate it.
