Kylian Mbappe respond to real Madrid January transfer
While Kylian Mbappe is away representing France internationally, speculation surrounding his future at Paris Saint-Germain and the possibility of a transfer to Real Madrid remain.
When asked about his future at Paris Saint-Germain while playing for France internationally, Kylian Mbappe declined to respond.
After scoring a hat-trick in France’s 14-0 thumping of Gibraltar on Saturday, Mbappe is getting ready to represent his nation against Greece on Tuesday.
Even though he is gone from Les Bleus, talk about his future at PSG is still very much alive.
“It’s not something I want to discuss, particularly since I completed it in June and it accounted for a significant portion of the selection,” Mbappe stated to Telefoot.
“There will be time to talk about that, but I would prefer that we focus more on the national team and less on me talking about something that will eventually be resolved.”
Mbappe’s contract with PSG expires at the end of the current campaign, at which point the much-discussed transfer to Real Madrid may finally happen.
After Real rejected proposals of £137 million (€160 million) and £145.5 million (€170 million) in the summer of 2021, Mbappe nearly signed a new contract with PSG the next year and joined the Spanish powerhouses on a free transfer.
This summer, Mbappe made another pass at Real Madrid, and during the preseason, he was momentarily barred from the first squad after notifying his bosses in writing that he would not be signing a new deal.
Even though he eventually reached an amicable agreement with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the rumors are still swirling about every day.
Javier Tebas, the head of La Liga, believes Mbappe will sign with Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
In September, when asked if he was certain it would happen, Tebas responded, “Convinced, convinced, no.” But there’s no doubt that it is his destiny. It will be over 70–80% the next year.
Recent reports from the Spanish capital, nevertheless, indicate that Real Madrid’s pursuit of Mbappe may yet encounter some difficulties.
The France star has become President Florentino Perez’s personal mission, but things might go south if financial fair play regulations are tightened.
According to reports, he hopes to make about £330,000 a week at the Bernabeu, which is far more than Jude Bellingham, the top player at the moment, who makes about £150,000.
According to reports, Real Madrid is also eager to sign younger players, and because Mbappe turns 25 next month, he might not be a good fit.
