A “excellent” player who might be available in January is now of interest to Leicester.

Leicester could add a gifted player in January to help with their promotion drive.

According to a report, Leicester City is in fantastic form as they continue their promotion push under Enzo Maresca, and they may now try to add a gifted emerging star in January.

Leading the way is Leicester City…
After a double from Jamie Vardy helped Leicester City defeat Watford at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, the team was able to increase their lead at the top to three points.

West Bromwich Albion defeated Ipswich Town despite their own strong play, allowing the Foxes to take a slight lead in the league after their first 17 games with 42 points.

Speaking following their easy victory, Italian manager Maresca expressed his satisfaction with his team, believing they deserved more from the game.

According to a quote from the team’s official website, “I think we deserved to win overall.” During the second half, we became better.

It was just a question of tempo in the first half; if they weren’t man-to-man, we could get going quickly with free kicks and goal kicks.”

“Thinking that everything is working well in five months is not a reality—this is a journey that started less than five months ago,” he continued.

Given how tough it is to win games, we keep playing the way we want to, even after two losses. Although it’s challenging and a process, we are making progress.”

Maresca will be hoping that his team can carry on with their remarkable consistency when they travel to Sheffield Wednesday in the middle of the week. They appear to be serious candidates for promotion to the Premier League.

According to a recent rumor, the Foxes may be able to bring in a talented defender for King Power Stadium by exploring the transfer market.

Leicester City has targeted Jarell Quansah.
The Sun claims that Leicester City has evaluated Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah and may try to make a loan move for the 20-year-old during the January transfer window as manager Jurgen Klopp looks to get more experience.

The Warrington-born star’s value is still rising at Anfield, and Preston North End and other teams are keeping a close eye on him.

In nine professional games for Liverpool this season across all competitions, Quansah—whomate Andy Robertson has called “excellent”—has recorded one assist (Quansah statistics – Transfermarkt).

Impressively, the youthful Reds player has averaged one successful clearing and one completed tackle per Premier League game (Quansah statistics – WhoScored).

As the Foxes attempt to win the Championship, Leicester City may provide Quansah with the ideal setting to acquire additional first-team experience, as he is reportedly being considered for a loan move.
