Building off a two-game winning streak, the Oklahoma City Thunder travels to Houston to take on the Rockets. Both teams are young, exciting squads looking to jump into the playoff scene this season after being on the outside looking in a year ago.
The Thunder took down the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks in its last two outings and now looks to add the Rockets to that list. The Rockets are coming off a three-game losing streak — all three being on Roa games. They’ll be looking to get on the right side of the win column as they return to their home floor.

Both teams will have their main cores playing in this one, with the bulk of the injury report being G League assignees and two-way players. The two teams will be interesting to watch as the Rockets need to get back to .500 after their three straight losses. The Thunder, on the other hand, will be looking to further solidify themselves as the No. 2 team in the West.With both squads battling with a good portion of their rotations playing, it should be a close, fun matchup.
Updated Odds:
The Thunder is a 1.5-point favorite over the Rockets, meaning the spread hasn’t changed since it opened. The Thunder being favorites isn’t surprising as the two teams’ recent form would suggest the Thunder is more likely to come in with some momentum over the Rockets.
Still, the Rockets are 8-1 at home, meaning all of their victories at home this season have come at their place. To combat that, the Thunder is a good road team, as they’re 7-2 when traveling this season.
The two teams should provide a fun matchup for the first of four times this season.
