PITTSBURGH — Hopefully, the Pittsburgh Steelers were listening because, over the weekend, the NFL sent a very strong message to the 7-6 playoff hopefuls. And if they do follow it, they might have a shot to keep their season alive.
While the Steelers were sitting at home trying to dissect back-to-back losses to losing football teams, the rest of the NFL was playing games. Pittsburgh snuck their way back into the AFC playoff picture, but that wasn’t the message the league was sending.
