BREAKING NEWS :Lions Delivers a forceful massage to record-breaking…
The two standout rookies on the Detroit Lions are receiving a lot of credit as the team is poised to win its first divisional championship in the previous thirty years.
After wasting a first-round pick on running back Jahymr Gibbs and a high second-round pick on tight end Sam LaPorta, the Lions were criticized at first. However, head coach Dan Campbell felt general manager Brad Holmes was justified in his choices, particularly in light of Saturday night’s performance.
In Detroit’s 42-17 victory over the Denver Broncos on December 16, Gibbs and LaPorta combined for five touchdowns. In addition to helping the Lions secure a postseason berth, the victory allowed LaPorta and Gibbs to keep setting rookie and league marks.
