Bridges was a reserve outside corner for the Ducks in 2023 who recorded 16 tackles and three pass breakups after starting all 13 games for Oregon in 2022.
Bridges will try to help a Florida Gators secondary that allowed the most pass plays of 30 yards or more in the conference (25), and finished worst in the SEC in interceptions (3).

Jalen Kimber and Jason Marshall Jr., the starting cornerbacks for UF, are back for the time being, however one or both may decide to enter the NFL Draft. Other promising cornerbacks at UF are rookie Dijon Johnson, sophomore Devin Moore, and freshman Ja’Keem Jackson.
Bridges is the first player from a power five school and UF’s fourth addition via the transfer portal. On Sunday night, UF received commitments from defensive tackle Joey Slackman of Penn and offensive lineman Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson of San Diego State.
