REPORT: Despite traffic issues, Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons challenge the Dallas Cowboys.

REPORT: Despite traffic issues, Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons…

The Dallas Cowboys’ primary issue is evident after their Sunday loss to the Buffalo Bills: they aren’t the same club when they play away from home. Micah Parsons and Dak Prescott are both fully aware of that vulnerability.

In their Week 15 matchup, the Bills dominated the Cowboys, with Josh Allen and company hammering Dallas to the tune of a 30-10 thrashing. Simply put, America’s Team didn’t resemble the team that had defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 33-13 and won five straight games prior to the contest.

Running back James Cook (#4) of the Buffalo Bills gains additional yardage as he outpaces linebacker Micah Parsons (#11) of the Dallas Cowboys. Cook scored 31 points to 10 points on the ground.
It’s important to remember that the Cowboys won four of their previous five games before Sunday’s game at home, and their struggles on the road were evident as they took on the Bills Stadium. Dallas is 7-0 at home but just 3-4 away from home.

Prescott and Parsons know that every time they play in a difficult environment, they need to improve as a team in order to be a Super Bowl contender. They must adapt and make sure they play with the same tenacity and mentality as they do when playing at home since the rival team’s supporters won’t make things any easy for them either.

It’s a significant distinction. This upcoming week of preparation, along with the following two weeks, are really about determining the difference and attempting to close that gap. According to The Athletic, Dak Prescott commented on their home and away performances, saying, “We can’t be those two different teams.”

Micah Parsons expressed a similar opinion when he said, “We need to improve on the road and become road warriors throughout the playoffs now because of this.” Therefore, it is meaningless unless we improve on the road, according to Dallas Morning News’ Michael Gehlken.

Prescott, for what it’s worth, is still optimistic about the Cowboys. He underlined that even if they have had trouble winning away from home, they have “problem-solvers” on the team who can assist them figure it out.

“The goal is to identify those solutions. We have some excellent problem solvers here. We’ll bridge that gap and obtain the information we seek,” Prescott said.

Although they still have a chance to have the top record in the NFC, they have already guaranteed a postseason position. However, it is just as vital to address the issues that have dogged them the whole season. The Cowboys have the opportunity to correct their shortcomings with two of their next three games being away from home.
