SNF: Ravens vs. Jaguars Game Thread and Forecast
Week 15 of Sunday Night Football. The Jacksonville Jaguars will play the Baltimore Ravens tonight.
The 8-5 Jacksonville Jaguars have lost three of their previous five games and two of their previous games coming into this one. Although Trevor Lawrence is dealing with an ankle ailment, the Jaguars’ defense—which is rated 25th in the NFL—is where the true issues lie. To maintain their single hold on the top spot in the AFC South, the Jaguars must win at home this evening.
The 10-3 Baltimore Ravens are riding high as they enter this match having won seven of their previous eight contests. They lead the NFC North by a significant margin. With the second-best defense and sixth-best offense in the NFL, the Ravens are a well-rounded squad. The Ravens can virtually guarantee themselves the AFC North championship with a win tonight on the road, positioning them to likely finish as the top seed in the AFC.
Against a Jaguars squad that hasn’t played up to par this season, I’m taking the Baltimore Ravens to win easily away from home.
