On Tuesday, the Colts announced roster changes. The Colts also placed wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie and cornerback Tony Brown on the Reserve/Suspended list for three games on Tuesday due to actions that were detrimental to the team.

Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts added defensive end Zach McCloud, wide receiver Jaydon Mickens, and wide receiver Juwann Winfree to the practice squad today in addition to adding running back Tyler Goodson from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Lewis Kidd, a guard, was also cut from the practice squad by the team.

This season, the 5-9, 197-pound Goodson has alternated between the team’s active roster and practice squad. In the three games he has participated in, he has 11 carries for 69 yards (6.3 average.). Additionally, Goodson has five pass receptions for 19 yards (3.8 avg.). On September 12, 2023, he was first added to Indianapolis’ practice squad. Goodson took part in the training camp and offseason activities with the Green Bay Packers in 2023. He was a member of the Packers’ practice squad and active roster as a rookie in 2022, although he did not play in any games. On May 2, 2022, Goodson was first signed by Green Bay as an undrafted free agent.

The 6-2, 235-pound McCloud trained camp with the Arizona Cardinals in 2023. He also took part in training camp and the 2023 offseason program with the Tennessee Titans. In 2022, McCloud participated in the Minnesota Vikings offseason program and training camp before spending time on the practice squads of the Titans and Denver Broncos as a rookie. On May 1, 2022, he signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Vikings. In 64 games (49 starts) during his collegiate career, McCloud was able to rack up 193 tackles (101 solo), 22.5 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks, four passes defensed, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery at Miami (FL) from 2016 to 21.

With the New York Giants (2022–23), Jacksonville Jaguars (2017–18, 2021), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2019–21), Carolina Panthers (2019), and Oakland Raiders (2016–17), Mickens, who stands 5-10 and weighs 174 pounds, has participated in 38 games in his career. His total of 15 receptions for 145 yards (9.7 average) and two touchdowns has been achieved. Mickens has also had 69 punt returns for 581 yards (8.4 average) and one score, along with 35 kickoff returns for 811 yards (23.2 average). In his six postseason games, he has returned kickoffs for 222 yards (22.2 average) and punts for 39 yards (6.5 average). On May 12, 2016, Mickens was first signed by the Raiders as an undrafted free agent.

After spending time on the team’s practice squad and active roster this season, Winfree—who stands 6-1 and weighs 210 pounds—rejoins the Colts. He signed with Indianapolis as a free agency on May 9, 2023. During his tenure with the Colts (2023), Packers (2020–22), and Broncos (2019), he has participated in 22 games (one of which he started) and amassed nine receptions for 75 yards (8.3 average). Winfree has also made one postseason appearance.

up September 14, 2023, Kidd, 6-6 and 311 pounds, signed up to the team’s practice squad. He took part in training camp and the offseason activities with the New Orleans Saints in 2023. Kidd signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent on May 16, 2022, and made his debut in 13 games (one start) as a rookie in 2022. He participated in 54 games during his collegiate career at Montana State (2016–21), making 48 consecutive starts at guard and tackle. Kidd has the third-highest number of starts in school history. He was recognized as a member of the First Team All-Big Sky in 2021 and the Second Team All-Big Sky in 2019.
