Nat Phillips, a defender for Liverpool, is coming back to Merseyside in January. Since the summer transfer window, the center defender has been at Celtic, helping Brendan Rodgers’ defense deal with a mounting injury list.
The Record, however, notes that due to a lack of first team play, Phillips will rejoin his parent club.
Phillips has made eight appearances since moving from Anfield, and he was inept in his cameo against Hibs and guilty of a foul against Killie. Despite not playing many games, the huge defender has entered and failed to make an impression.
It is anticipated that the Englishman will be moved out on loan once more to play first team football after returning to Anfield.
