Player of the Year for the Warriors versus. Celtics
Player of the Year for the Warriors versus. Celtics….
On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors will play the Boston Celtics, but they won’t have to contend with star center Kristaps Porzingis. According to the Celtics’ injury report, which is available for this game, Porzingis is out because of his management of his injuries.
The Warriors are also without Draymond Green, who is serving an NBA suspension that is indefinite, in addition to the Celtics suffering a significant loss. Unfortunately, this means that neither team can field their starting power forwards, thus fans will not get to witness the Warriors and Celtics play at their peak.
Of fact, this game is a repeat of the NBA Finals from 2022, but both teams don’t seem to be from that series. Since then, the Warriors have lost a few important role players, but they have started to add talented young players in their place.
The Warriors now have another floor general off the bench in Chris Paul. Of course, Porzingis was added by Boston, though he isn’t eligible for this game. Jrue Holiday was another significant addition. This could be an entertaining battle between two teams that are hoping to win a championship this season, even without Green and Porzingis. Although Golden State hasn’t looked like a championship team this year like Boston has, the Warriors are still optimistic that they can improve and contend this year.
