Schedule of the Florida Gators Class of 2024 Early Signing Period
The timetable for Florida’s early signing period for the class of 2024 is being monitored by All Gators.
Less than a day remains before the class of 2024 Early Signing Period kicks off, and the Gators are attempting to hold onto their collectively top-10-ranked pile of commitments.
Eighteen high school prospects from Florida have committed to the program thus far, and many transfers are anticipated to sign this week as well.
Nonetheless, there is still drama after UF’s four recent decommitments because two Gator pledges visited other schools shortly before the cycle ended: linebacker Adarius Hayes visited Miami last month, while defensive lineman Amaris Williams visited Auburn.
Williams has been entertaining other teams for a few months now, despite having committed to the Gators on June 17. After making his official visit to Ohio State in October, a lot of recruiting observers thought he would back out of his pledge to the Buckeyes.
Since then, Auburn has also entered the mix; Williams paid an official visit to the campus the weekend of December 10. It’s now widely believed that the promising prospect will sign with the Tigers on Wednesday. On Tuesday, he announced the Gators, Buckeyes, and Tigers as his top choices for recruits.
With his commitment from January 28, Hayes, on the other hand, has one of Florida’s longest tenures among promises. Although Hayes said that his recruiting had “shut down” on several occasions during the process, the Hurricanes are now in a position to potentially accomplish a flip after he had an official visit to Miami this past weekend.
Can the Gators retain both of these gifted prospects and their whole recruiting class for 2024? That will be Wednesday.
A running list of Florida’s commitments and goals’ signing ceremony times has been compiled by All Gators. As more times are revealed, the schedule will be updated, so check back often.
