NFL Week 16: Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs: forecasts, choices, and odds
ESPN: Dangerous attack on chief QB after being……
In one of three Christmas Day games at Arrowhead Stadium, the Kansas City Chiefs (9-5) welcome the Las Vegas Raiders (6-8) in an AFC West encounter.
Each team is fighting for a postseason berth. Compared to the Raiders, who would require a Christmas miracle to qualify for the postseason, the Chiefs have far better odds.
The New England Patriots were defeated 27–17 by Kansas City last week, delivering Bill Belichick his worst season as a head coach. For the third time this season, Patrick Mahomes had two interceptions, one coming on a mishandled Kadarius Toney grab. He still finds it difficult to establish a connection with his receivers.
With a 63-21 thumping of the Los Angeles Chargers, the Raiders set a franchise record for the most points scored in a game and went from 0 to 60 quite quickly. Only one week had passed since their 3-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Aidan O’Connell, the rookie quarterback, completed his pass for 248 yards and four touchdowns in the victory, while Davante Adams recorded his second 100-yard receiving performance of the year. Josh Jacobs was sidelined due to a quad strain.
The Chiefs triumphed 31-17 over the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium in Week 12 of their game. In the second quarter, Las Vegas led by 14 points, and Jacobs recorded his second 100-yard rushing performance of the year with 110 yards. He might not be available for the rematch.
