Mason Rudolph will start for the Steelers against the Bengals on Saturday after Kenny Pickett is ruled out.
Good News: Steelers head coach welcomes Kenny before Saturdays match.
Mason Rudolph will start for the Steelers against the Bengals on Saturday in their Week 16 showdown, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Kenny Pickett is not participating.
Rudolph will replace Mitch Trubisky in the starting lineup for the first time this season. Earlier this Saturday, during the Steelers’ 30–13 loss to the Colts, the 2018 third-round pick filled in, completing two of three passes for three yards.
This approaching Pittsburgh-Cincinnati division rivalry game will be Pickett’s third absence since he suffered an ankle injury in the team’s early December loss to the Cardinals.
With a 7–7 record, the Steelers are now bottom of the AFC North and on a three-game losing skid.
