NBA Acknowledges Its Mistakes in the Warriors vs. Celtics Game

NBA Boston Celtics HC Acknowledges His mistake and set to….

Tuesday night’s overtime thriller between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors ended with Golden State winning thanks to a strong performance by Steph Curry.

wo missed calls that might have been significant if the game had gone in a different way are included in the NBA’s “Last Two Minute Report” for this match. Following Jayson Tatum’s foul shot at the conclusion of regulation, Golden State got the rebound and Chris Paul attempted to request a timeout.

This was the first missed call. Golden State should have been given the timeout, but the NBA found that there would have only been 0.3 seconds left. “Jackson-Davis (GSW) possesses the rebound and Paul (GSW) signals for a timeout with 0.3 seconds remaining, but it is not recognized by officials,” the NBA stated.

The last missed call occurred during overtime when Jonathan Kuminga was knocked down by Tatum after an inbound pass. The NBA acknowledges that Tatum should have been called for a foul, but nothing was. “Tatum (BOS) wraps both arms around Kuminga (GSW) and dislodges him from his defensive position,” according to the NBA.

Even though Tatum was wide open with roughly nine seconds left, this might have been a huge miss even if it was only a four-point game at that point. Derrick White missed a contested three point anyhow, therefore this missed call had no bearing on anything.
