Tommy DeVito’s agent for the Giants explains “miscommunication” in a pizza place.
BREAKING NEWS: Tommy DeVito’s absence in their next match gives his HC a big pro…
Tommy DeVito, a rookie quarterback for the New York Giants, had an appearance on Fox Business Network’s “The Claman Countdown” where he discussed the controversy surrounding a New Jersey pizzeria that canceled DeVito’s scheduled appearance after Stellato allegedly doubled the quarterback’s fee from $10,000 to $20,000.
Stellato apologized if she caused any of the mistake, saying, “There was obviously a miscommunication.” Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post published her statement. “That wasn’t my goal. We’re concentrating on playing football, like I spoke earlier.”
In the end, DeVito made an unpaid appearance at the pizza on Tuesday and said on Wednesday that “some stuff just slipped through the cracks” as the native of New Jersey rose to prominence in the community after leading the Giants to three straight crowns.
Stellato is still promoting the undrafted 25-year-old even though DeVito recently brought in a new marketing company. During the interview, he maintained that his connection with the signal-caller “is as good as it’s ever been” in spite of the recent events with the pizzeria.
“Miscommunication happens in life sometimes,” Stellato remarked. “I acknowledge that. My goal has always been to provide the client with the finest representation possible. Both on and off the field, I have a fiduciary duty. I sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings I may have caused; that was not my intention. We are prepared to proceed. Clearly, this is the past.”
Even though the 5-9 Giants are virtually eliminated from the playoff picture, DeVito needs to put these possible distractions behind him because he is fighting in the last three games of the current season to secure a position on the roster for either Big Blue or a new team next season. Next up for New York is a Christmas Day game against the Philadelphia Eagles (10-4), which the teams will play at MetLife Stadium in Week 18.
Stellato continued, “Tommy loves his fans.” Tommy is a Giants fan. Tommy believes that ownership is the most important thing going on right now, and he is currently laser-focused on the last three games against the Eagles twice.”
