While broadcasting a game on a streaming service is not uncommon, NBC is experimenting with something unique for its game on Peacock.

There won’t be any commercials throughout the game’s fourth quarter.

According to NBC, this will significantly cut down on game advertising while improving the viewing experience.

“This matchup will deliver a groundbreaking fan experience with an over 40% reduction in standard NFL ad load resulting in more than 12 minutes of additional game-related content,” according to NBC’s press release.

For the holiday game on Peacock, Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth, and Melissa Stark of Sunday Night Football will be the callers.

On Saturday, Football Night in America will likewise begin at 3:00 p.m. to preview the Bengals-Steelers game, and it will conclude at 7:30 p.m. with the Bills-Chargers game.
