Leonard Fournette, a running back, is back on the active roster of the NFL.

Fournette will be available for the Buffalo Bills’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday after being activated off the practice squad, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

James Cook, who just finished a game in which he amassed 221 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 25 rushes and four receptions, will be covered by Fournette.

In October, Fournette joined the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills.

Throughout his career, Leonard has amassed 4,478 rushing yards and 34 rushing touchdowns. He has also added 2,219 yards and seven receiving scores. He can give the rushing core some experience, particularly when the playoffs roll around.

With an 8-6 record, Buffalo is vying for a postseason spot.

With victories over the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs in back-to-back weeks, the Bills seem to be peaking at the right moment and might be a serious contender if they can make it to the postseason.
