Jordan Love hails the Packers as the winner of the bread.
Quarterback Jordan Love wasn’t just winning over Green Bay Packers fans on the football field this weekend. He was also helping dig them out of the snow in the midst of this week’s blustery winter storm.
Love, 25, reportedly spotted a woman struggling to get her car into gear last week and offered to help. But once Lucy Kurowski, 20, realized who it was that was trying to help her out of the snow, she told local Fox 11 News that she started “fangirling.”
“It didn’t feel real,” Kurowski told the outlet. “I was in a state of shock.”
The Green Bay Packers fan was just leaving a hair appointment when her car began giving her trouble.
“I get in my car and I’m stuck,” she recalled. “Like, I can’t back out. I can’t move forward.”
Kurowski then made eye contact with a guy walking back to his car parked nearby. The man was wearing Packers attire that looked like warmups the team would wear. The man then got into his car and started to drive off before turning around and pulling up next to her.
“He gets out of his car and he’s like, ‘Are you OK?’ ” Kurowski told Fox 11. “And I was like, ‘Are you Jordan Love?!’ I was fangirling. I couldn’t even believe it.”
Love and Kurowski tried to push her car forward to get it moving but then soon stopped when it wouldn’t budge. “This is not a good idea, you have a game on Sunday,” Kurowski remembers telling Love, who soon agreed.
Kurowski told the quarterback she had help on the way, anyhow. But before he left, Love agreed to take a selfie with the fan. Kurowski’s aunt Allie Adames soon shared the photo on X, and it went viral.
