Celtics injury report: 2 starters removed for Nuggets game Friday.
ESPN: Injury Report, 2 Best player that can not play next match following their injury…
The Celtics will be back at full strength on Friday night when they host the Denver Nuggets at TD Garden.
Boston announced Thursday afternoon that Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick White have been removed from the team’s injury report for Friday against Denver, allowing them both to return to the lineup after a one-game absence.
White missed Wednesday’s win over the Spurs with a sprained ankle while Porzingis sat out with knee inflammation. Al Horford and Luke Kornet started in place of both players as Joe Mazzulla elected to go with a big frontcourt in a blowout win over the Spurs.
Boston will be matching up against the defending champions who are also trending towards having their rotation at full strength. Aaron Gordon is the only notable player on the Nuggets injury report but he is probable with a right shoulder sprain.
Boston will be riding a three-game winning streak into the matchup and will also be looking to improve upon a 20-0 start to the season at TD Garden.
Denver dropped the opening game of a five-game Eastern Conference road swing against Joel Embiiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. However, they will be well rested for Friday’s matchup with two off days including a practice in Boston on Thursday.
The Celtics and Nuggets will tip off in the nationally televised ESPN matchup at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night at TD Garden.
