In 2023, the Packers put together an incredible and unexpected run that almost led them to the NFC Championship game with a chance to go to the Super Bowl. From a season that started 2-5, and 3-6, Green Bay rallied on numerous occasions to give themselves a chance in the playoffs. Following an epic win over the Cowboys, Green Bay went toe-to-toe with the number one overall seed San Francisco 49ers, but ultimately came up short due to a 4th quarter collapse in Santa Clara.

Green Bay is young, hungry, and will learn from their mistakes in 2023, and be stronger for them going into 2024.

This season, the offense played 1,095 snaps, while the defense logged 1,034. That’s a total of 2,129 snaps, with 11 players on each snap (give or take a couple plays where the Packers may not have had 11 players on the field). That’s 23,419 individual grades given out throughout the course of the season, watching every angle of the all-22 film.

Grades are imperfect. That’s the first thing that always needs to be recognized with this exercise. There are things I can absolutely glean from individual plays, and there are other things that are difficult to discern. All I’m trying to grade is the clear and obvious plays that I can make out on a play-to-play basis. Always imperfect, but also the most painstaking process that anyone goes through to hand out comprehensive player grades throughout the course of the season. You can see my full grading scale at the end of the page, but here were the results of those 23,419 grades. Enjoy!
