The NFC virtual ok winner was claimed by Puka and Micah.
When the gridiron changed from physical to digital at the Pro Bowl Games, that’s ironically when the beef got real between Pro Bowl selections from the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns. During the Madden 24 challenge, David Njoku taught Micah Parsons a lesson in trash talk: don’t dish it out if you can’t take it
Micah Parsons vs David Njoku
Parsons started it with an uncalled for shot at the Browns, saying that his Madden teammate Puka Nacua showed Njoku why “Cleveland is Cleveland,” and Njoku was quick to stand up for his city.
“He said Cleveland is Cleveland, but we’re both here. We’re both playing this Madden game,” Njoku responded. “So what are you saying of Cleveland is Cleveland? Dallas is Dallas?
“He has a good point bro. We’re all here,” Njoku’s Madden teammate Tyreek Hill interjected. Indeed, Hill, Parsons and Njoku all lost in the first round of the NFL playoffs despite having strong seasons that led them to the Pro Bowl.
Fans split on Parsons Madden drama
Puka and Micah took home the virtual win for the NFC, but the Cleveland-Dallas beef left fans split on who was speaking the truth.
“Cowboys have no right to say anything,” said one response to the video on X/Twitter.
“Micah’s not wrong. Cleveland has been underperforming for so long that they barely have critics when they lose,” said another comment with a different perspective. “It’s as if they aren’t critiqued on a professional level.”
