The San Francisco 49ers have no love for the Kansas City Chiefs.

That’s not much of a surprise, as Andy Reid’s team got the best of them four years ago in the Super Bowl, and that’s a wound that hasn’t closed all the way yet.

Notably, the Niners have one of the biggest and most loyal fan bases in all sports, and it didn’t take long before they made their presence felt in the Super Bowl.

Multiple Niners fans booed Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce, but he was pretty much unbothered by it.

When asked about it, the future Hall of Famer claimed that they were just hyping him up, adding that he wants to play them right now (via Around the NFL).

Ya’ll are firing me up, making me want to play right now, baby!” Kelce said.

Kelce drew some mockery and criticism this season because his production took a dip by his standards, with the fans claiming that it all had to do with his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.

He responded by completely dominating in the playoffs, even going 11-for-11 for over 100 yards and a touchdown in the AFC Championship Game vs. the Baltimore Ravens.

If history has taught us anything, it is that you should never poke a bear, and Kelce is a prime example of that.

The Niners have more than enough resources on defense to at least try and contain him if that’s even possible.
