Dillon Gabriel wants to leave.
Dillon Gabriel explain why he wants to leave Oklahoma Sooners for Tennessee Volunteers
The Oklahoma Sooners are turning the keys to the offense over to former five-star prospect Jackson Arnold after Dillon Gabriel transferred to Oregon.
Arnold showed flashes of this talent in mop-up duty during the regular season. He received his first extended run in the second half of the BYU game, playing well enough to lead the Sooners to the pivotal road win.
In the Alamo Bowl, Arnold showed a lot of promise, but his 300-yard passing day was marred by four turnovers, including three interceptions.
Still, optimism is high for Arnold as he prepares to take the reigns for the Sooners. He’s got all the talent to be a big-time player at the collegiate level and with a full offseason to take starting quarterback reps in practice, he’ll be more than ready to lead the Sooners into the SEC in 2024.
