Doncic, who recorded 30 points, 16 assists, and 11 rebounds on the second night of a back-to-back against the Raptors, played after spraining his left ankle. He is now listed as questionable to play against the Celtics.

The Mavs already listed Dereck Lively II and Maxi Kleber as available to play against the Celtics as they continue to deal with nasal fractures. The team will be without A.J. Lawson, Brandon Williams, and Greg Brown III.

Kleber missed Wednesday’s game as he continues to manage his right small toe dislocation. The Mavs continue to be cautious about his workload, given his importance to the team as a stretch-five with switching ability. He’s often been relied on to close games and play heavy minutes in second halves lately.

If Doncic cannot play, Kyrie Irving will be relied on to step into the role as the top option in the Mavs’ offense against the 46-12 Celtics, who have a 27-3 home record. The team did regain Dante Exum in the lineup after being sidelined for 13 games, offering more support for Irving in such a circumstance.Mavericks' Luka Doncic has fan ejected who reportedly told him to 'get your a-- on the treadmill' | Fox News

Doncic has averaged 34.4 points, 9.7 assists, and 8.8 rebounds in 51 games this season. He’s elevated his game to help guide the Mavs to a 34-25 record, ranking seventh in the Western Conference entering Friday’s action.
