In a recent mock draft by Rams Wire, the team gets another wide receiver and selects Brian Thomas Jr. out of LSU after trading the No. 19 pick for the No. 26 pick and the No. 58 pick.

Thomas ran a 4.33 40-yard dash in the NFL Combine but is listed at 6-4, 205 pounds. His combination of size and speed makes him a jack of all trades, as any team that drafts him could utilize him both as a deep threat and a red zone threat.

He finished this past season with over 1100 yards on 68 receptions, as well as 17 touchdowns. His best game of the season was in LSU’s win against Ole Miss where he finished with 124 yards and a very impressive three touchdowns.

Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp provide yards after the catch with their agility and elusiveness on the ground, and Thomas complements them by being a deep threat and using his athleticism to make plays.

If the Rams were to draft Thomas to be the third wide receiver, then the team’s passing attack would have even more layers and be more intimidating than last year.
