Murder suspect in Chiefs rally shooting in hospital, case continued to March 4 hearing
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – One of the men charged in connection with the death of a Kansas City DJ was due in court Thursday morning, but his hearing has been continued to next week.
Lyndell Mays, a 23-year-old Kansas City man, has bee n charged with second-degree murder among other felonies, accused of firing a gun that spurred a series of gunfire resulting in Lisa Lopez-Galvan’s killing on Feb. 14.
Mays was wounded in the shooting but was released and booked into the Jackson County Detention Center. However on Thursday morning, he did not show for a bond review hearing because he had been taken back to the hospital.
The murder suspect still has no legal representation for his case. His hearing has been continued for March 4.
