were forced to quickly apologise after Ipswich Town striker Ali Al-Hamadi used some choice language during an interview following his side’s epic comeback win against Bristol City.

The Tractor Boys came from behind twice in a hard-fought 3-2 victory to stay second in the Championship, putting them on course for automatic promotion to the Premier League with just 10 games to go. Al-Hamadi, 22, scored within a minute of coming on as a second-half substitute, making it 1-1 before visitors City restored their advantage

Once Conor Chaplin had made it 2-2, Al-Hamadi was given the chance to put Ipswich ahead at Portman Road from the penalty spot. Unfortunately for the Liverpool-raised Iraq international, his shot was saved in the bottom left-hand corner by Robins goalkeeper Max O’Leary.
