Detroit Lions legend Barry Sanders is now a Spartan fan and he gives his thoughts on the Lions season
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders is the father of Michigan State basketball player Nick Sanders. On Wednesday night, the Spartans celebrated a win over Northwestern on senior night.
News 10′s Fred Huemann caught up with the legendary Lions RB after the game on the Breslin floor. Sanders is now fully a Michigan State fan and loves how the Lions are doing.
The Spartans are back in action on Sunday against Indiana.
