Two of Tennessee’s commitments and a number of other players who have received scholarship offers from the Vols are ranked among the nation’s top prospects in 247Sports’ updated Top247 for the 2025 class. On Wednesday, 247Sports released its latest update to the Top247, and dozens of prospects who made the list have already picked up offers from Tennessee and visited the Vols.
Six players from the state of Tennessee made the updated Top247, led by Tennessee quarterback commitment George MacIntyre of Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy. MacIntyre is now rated a five-star prospect by 247Sports, with the pool of five-stars in the 2025 class now having expanded to 16 players. He has been a five-star prospect in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite for months, and he remains a top-10 prospect nationally in 247Sports’ rankings.
The Vols have hosted an impressive list of Class of 2025 prospects over the past several months, and they have continued to extend offers to players who are coming off their junior seasons. Tennessee has already handed out offers to more than 400 players in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports’ database.
