On Monday, the NBA announced that the Dallas Mavericks star was named Western Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season. From March 4-10, Doncic averaged 37.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 10.7 assists and 1.3 steals while leading the Mavericks to a 2-1 mark.

Although the week started with a loss to the Indiana Pacers, Doncic and the Mavericks found their footing with victories over the Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons.

After Saturday’s win over Detroit, Doncic surpassed Russell Westbrook as owner of the longest streak of consecutive 30-point triple-doubles in NBA history. Doncic came away with 39 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against the Pistons to extend that streak to six games.

The Slovenian guard also made league history with five consecutive 35-point triple-doubles.

Monday marked the 12th time Doncic has received Player of the Week honors in his career. He was recognized with the award this season during the weeks of Dec. 11-17 and Feb. 5-11.

Doncic and the Mavericks open the new week with a road game against the Chicago Bulls and DeMar DeRozan, the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
