One of the Buffalo Bills’ longtime leaders on their defense has found a new home, and he won’t be going far out of the division.

Former Bills safety Jordan Poyer has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter. The Dolphins also reportedly signed pass rusher Shaq Barrett on Tuesday. Related content The Bills cut Poyer on Friday ahead of the cap crunch, as they were set to enter free agency over the cap. Poyer was cut alongside center Mitch Morse, cornerbacks Siran Neal and Tre’Davious White, running back Nyheim Hines and receiver Deonte Harty.
