FINAL OV WEEKEND FOR EARLY SIGNERS
- Arkansas 4-star running back commit Jadan Baugh (Decatur, GA). He plans to enroll early.
- 4-star RB Kevin Riley from Tuscaloosa County High School is a Miami commitment. An RBR insider believes he will commit to Bama next week.
- Tide safety: commit Red Morgan (Phenix City).
- Bama TE commits Jay Lindsey (Butler, AL) already has the Bama bangs. He will not enroll early but should sign.
TRANSFER PORTAL OVs
- EDGE/DL LT Overton, Texas A&M – Former 5-star recruit; sophomore DE wants to play more of an Edge position. Father is the current AD at Kennesaw State – who hired Antoine Pettway as basketball coach, if that does anything for you. There are two years of eligibility remaining.
- EDGE Fadil Diggs, Texas A&M – served as team captain. 22 solos, 14 assists, and 4 sacks. Also visiting Syracuse, which is close to his Camden, NJ, home and might be the favorite. Diggs was recruited to Texas A&M by defensive line coach Elijah Robinson, who is now the defensive coordinator at the ‘Cuse. He has two years left.
- EDGE Trey Moore, UTSA This guy is a beast! 30 solos, 15 assists, 14 sacks, 1 INT, 3 passes def, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble rec. Texas is the early favorite. Moore cancelled a trip to Ohio State and may or may not visit Tuscaloosa this week. There are two years left.
TARGET ACQUIRED
- DB Zavier “Zay” Mincey of Daytona Beach is a major target. He took an OV to Bama on October 20 for TSIO – his first OV since June. Nick Saban had an in-home visit with him on Tuesday. Zay is thought to be an early enrollee but won’t be a part of bowl prep since he plans to announce on Jan 6 at the Army All-American Game.
FLIPADELPHIA
- LB commit Tristan Jernigan (Tupelo, MS) is a possible flip from Texas A&M. An OV to T-town last weekend made a big impression. He is at Ole Miss this weekend. Jernigan was born in Florence, AL but moved to Tupelo, MS at age 2.
