4-star LB Jaedon Harmon commits to Alabama in class of 2025
Kalen DeBoer and Alabama football continued to load up on linebacker talent in the recruiting class of 2025 on Sunday. The Crimson Tide took a commitment from Jaedon Harmon of Rome High School in Georgia.
Harmon announced the news on his social media in conjunction with Hayes Fawcett of On3.
He is a four-star prospect according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Harmon is the No. 23 linebacker in the class of 2025 and the No. 177 overall player.
He made the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s all-state list last season as a junior. The Wolves went 11-2 and made it to the AAAAA quarterfinals.
Harmon released his top 10 schools on April 3. In addition to Alabama, the list included Clemson, Florida State, Oklahoma, LSU, Auburn, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas and Ole Miss.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Harmon became the 10th commitment in Alabama’s 2025 class. His announcement came just one day after A-Day, when three-star wideout Lotzeir Brooks joined the class.
Harmon is the fourth linebacker to commit in the 2025 class. He joins four-star prospect Darrell “Duke” Johnson and three-stars Miles Johnson, Abduall Sanders Jr. and Luke Metz.
Alabama’s 2025 class was ranked No. 8 nationally on the 247 Composite Board before Harmon’s commitment on Sunday. The class will be head coach Kalen DeBoer’s first full group in Tuscaloosa after he took over for the retired Nick Saban.
