Heartbreak: Swansea City greatest player of all time has terminated his contract to sign a new contract.

Andre Ayew, who finished the previous two seasons as Swansea City’s leading striker, departs; Wayne Routledge offered one-year contract extension as he recovers from knee surgery; Conor Hourihane is one of the loanees going back to his original team.

At the conclusion of the domestic season, Andre Ayew’s contract ended, and he left Swansea City.

Despite finishing the previous two seasons under Steve Cooper as Swansea’s best scorer, Ghana captain Ayew departs the Liberty Stadium.

When the 31-year-old returned to Swansea from West Ham in January 2018 for an initial £18 million, he has scored 35 goals in 106 appearances.
