If he is not fired, I will leave the Swansea City head coach, as he has a misunderstanding with his player.

The Swansea City head coach has a problem with one of his players, therefore if he is not removed, I will step down.

His Reims team is only five points behind Brest in fourth place in the Champions League qualifying slots thanks to his continuous strong performance this season.

During an interview with the Belgian football publication Voetbal Primeur, Still discussed the attention he has lately drawn from several teams.

“Isn’t that (interest from other clubs) typical in the world of football?” he asked.

“Undoubtedly, Sunderland wasn’t the first team to express a genuine interest in me. Numerous clubs, including Stoke, Swansea, Lyon, Rennes, and many more, have gotten in touch with me since the season began.

“I’m going to be playing for a club in England next.” I am thinking along those lines.”

After the Sunderland club fired Tony Mowbray, it appeared as though Still would join, but Michael Beale was named in his place. Swansea is clearly eager to appoint a manager immediately following Micheal Duff’s poor spell, despite the fact that approaching a manager performing so well in a top European league seems like an ambitious move.

Michael Duff was fired by Swansea over three weeks ago, and the club doesn’t seem any closer to selecting a replacement manager.

Caretaker manager Alan Sheehan will be in charge for Swansea’s matches against Southampton on Boxing Day and Preston this weekend, according to chairman Andy Coleman’s statement on the team’s official website.

Although it would be surprising if a manager of Will Still’s caliber were to join Swansea, the Welsh team, who are presently only five points above the relegation zone, at least demonstrates some ambition.

Even so, if he were to sign with Swansea, it would be a fantastic appointment that would inspire everyone at the team. The club is already sleepwalking toward a relegation battle, and the upcoming manager appointment will be the largest in the team’s history.

Still not likely to sign with Swansea City
It seems quite improbable that Still would leave a team vying for Champions League qualification for a team perhaps facing Championship relegation, given Swansea’s standing in the league and his reputation.

All that Still disclosed was that he had been approached by several clubs, including Swansea. He didn’t say whether or not he was interested in the position.
