Baltimore Orioles head coach Brandon Hyde has been fired due to the criminal activities that occurred today.

Because of what happened today, Brandon Hyde, the head coach of the Baltimore Orioles, was fired.

On Thursday night, Baltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde broke a major league record that baffled both fans and commentators.

After New York Yankees pitcher Wandy Peralta hit an Orioles hitter and nearly hit the one before, Hyde was ejected in the eighth inning.

Almost immediately after entering the field to speak with the umpire about the situation, Hyde was removed from the game.

At that point, the birds led 14-0, according to commentators, the most lead a team had when their manager was fired.

With two home runs, four hits, and five RBIs in the first four innings, Gunnar Henderson set career highs. On Thursday night, the Baltimore Orioles defeated Luis Severino and the New York Yankees 14-1.

Before the Orioles sent 21 batters to the plate in the third and fourth innings, Henderson launched his first leadoff home run. With 11 hits, three walks, and one hit batter, the Orioles took a 13-0 lead.

Baltimore recorded 20 hits, its highest since 21 in an 18-5 victory against Cleveland on June 6, 2021, and scored its most runs since defeating Boston 15-10 on August 19 of last year. The Orioles won two in a row to split the four games thanks to two doubles from Cedric Mullins and three hits and four RBIs from Ryan O’Hearn.

Severino (1-4) has a 7.38 ERA, a.315 opponents’ batting average, and a.560 slugging percentage, and he gave up seven runs and ten hits in 2 2/3 innings. He only got three swings, missing twenty-three fastballs.

Since CC Sabathia gave up 39 runs in seven games from July 14 through August 18, 2013, Severino’s current seven-game streak of runs allowed has been the worst for a Yankees pitcher.

Except for rookie Colton Cowser, who was playing in his second big league game, every starter for Baltimore recorded a hit. Since a 17-9 victory on September 27, 2005, the Orioles’ total of 14 runs was the highest they had scored against the Yankees.

A five-run fourth inning ended when Cedric Mullins grounded out, evoking a shout from the 39,766 spectators in the Bronx. In the fifth inning, fans broke off from their wave and jeered first baseman DJ LeMahieu and catcher Jose Trevino for allowing a pop-up by Ramón Urias to go behind them.

It was Isiah Kiner-Falafa’s fourth appearance of the season as a pitcher. His ERA dropped to 2.25 when he gave up a single hit in a scoreless inning.

Both Henderson and Yankees manager Aaron Boone addressed YES Network cameraman Pete Stendel on Thursday. Stendel was struck by Henderson’s misdirected throw during Wednesday night’s game, resulting in a fractured left eye socket. After a 17-minute wait, Stendel was wheeled off the field and gave a peace sign. On Thursday, he was released from the hospital.

Glad everything went smoothly, Henderson remarked. “He simply said, ‘Don’t let it affect you in any way,’ reaching out.” Things do occur.

Boone expressed his gratitude that the man could recuperate at home. Clearly, this is a really frightening circumstance. It’s true that I witnessed it in real time, and it slightly alarmed me.”

Following Wednesday’s game, RHP Randy Vásquez was optioned to the Triple-A club, leaving a roster slot vacant; therefore, the Yankees recalled RHP Deivi García from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. After being placed on waivers by Detroit, LHP Anthony Misiewicz was claimed by New York and assigned to Scranton. In exchange for cash, the Orioles sent RHP Chris Vallimont to Cleveland. On Monday, Vallimont made his major league debut; on Wednesday, he was designated for assignment.

Orioles: LF After feeling better, Austin Hays (left rib) plans to play this weekend. Hays suffered injuries on Sunday in an accident involving Donovan Solano of Minnesota, just hours after finding out he had been named to the AL All-Star team for the first time. About ninety minutes prior to the first pitch, Aaron Hicks was left off of the starting lineup.

Yankees: OF Following a diving catch on Wednesday, Jake Bauers (shoulder) suffered a bruised rotator cuff that required a cortisone shot. It seems anticipated that he will be placed on the disabled list. OF Aaron Judge (right toe) is running on a treadmill, taking pitches both soft and overhand, and hitting off a tee. On Sunday and July 13, LHP Nestor Cortes (rotator cuff) is anticipated to toss to batters at the Yankees’ Tampa complex.

UP NEXT Orioles: Baltimore will open a three-game series against Minnesota on Friday with a start by left-hander Cole Irvin (1-3, 6.32 ERA). Since returning from Triple-A Norfolk on June 10, Irvin has made four starts and one relief appearance, going 1-1 with a 3.44 ERA.

Yankees: LH Against the visiting Chicago Cubs in the first game of a three-game series, Carlos Rodón will make his New York debut. In spring training, Rodón, who in December inked a $162 million six-year contract, hurt his left forearm, and during his rehabilitation, a sore back hindered him.
