Scott Satterfield, the head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats, was sacked as a result of the illegal activity that took place today.
Cincinnati — After the Bearcats’ 28-26 loss to UCF at Nippert Stadium on Saturday night, their current losing streak stands at seven games.
Even though Ryan Montgomery (108 yards) and Corey Kiner (114 yards) both broke the 100-yard mark, Cincinnati was unable to end their losing skid.
Head coach Scott Satterfield remarked, “I think it points to a very undisciplined football team, which pisses me off. Congratulations to Central Florida for getting that win.” “That’s all on me; that’s how we’ve been. We’re going to address that. We’re trying our hardest to get that corrected, but we only have three weeks to finish it before the offseason.
Being so inept at football makes it impossible to win; it’s all about penalties and turnovers. Tonight, we also had a player dismissed. It’s embarrassing that we act in such a way, and it’s not who we want to be.”
Cincinnati was given eight 75-yard penalties. Out of the eight penalties, the Knights received three first downs.
The Bearcats will play West Virginia and Houston on the road before hosting No. 22 Kansas to close off the season.
