It is difficult to find many issues with his performance on Saturday, as the Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers in a comeback to take a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.

With 36 points, Tatum topped both teams in scoring. In addition, he contributed eight assists and ten rebounds without giving the ball away. In the NBA Playoffs’ history, that is a first.

Following the game, Celtics insider Taylor Snow wrote on X (previously Twitter), “Jayson Tatum is the 1st player in NBA history with at least 36 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists while committing 0 turnovers in a playoff game.”
