Suspension to Alabama: The FIFA has been given Alabama three weeks suspension, just a few minutes ago… check for the more details…

Three Alabama has suspended for violations of FIFA rules

As its fall camp began on Friday, Alabama was without three players due to suspension.

After practice, coach Nick Saban said linebacker Tim Williams, defensive lineman Brandon Ivory and defensive lineman Jarran Reed were suspended due to violations of team rules.

“Each guy can return to the team on the completion of a requirement for what they have to do relative to their suspension,” Saban said (via TideSports.com)

It’s not known how long those requirements will take to fulfill or what they are.

Williams played in seven games last year and had three tackles. Ivory played in 12 games and had 24 tackles in 2013 while Reed joined the team this year after playing at East Mississippi Community College. He was arrested for DUI in July.

Saban also said that RB Bo Scarbrough didn’t qualify academically and will attempt to have him join the team in January. Scarbrough was a five-star recruit out of Tuscaloosa Academy and the No. 2 RB in the Rivals class of 2014 behind LSU RB Leonard Four better.

While the loss of a five-star recruit for the upcoming season is a big blow for most schools, it’s different at Alabama, especially for running backs. While Fournette is expected to contribute immediately at LSU, Alabama already has T.J. Yeldon, Kenyan Drake and Derrick Henry in the running back rotation.
