RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce the pre-contract signing of Clinton Nsiala from AC Milan. Clinton will officially join the club on July 1 subject to international clearance and a successful work permit application.
The 20-year-old defender, who is an enticing prospect for the future at Ibrox, will be the third summer signing after Jefte and Oscar Cortes.
At the age of six, Nsiala enrolled in the Cercle Paul Bert de Bréquigny juvenile academy. At the age of fifteen, he moved to Nantes.
After spending two years in the Ligue 1 team’s development divisions, the teenage defender made enough of an impression to be transferred to AC Milan in 2021.
From then on, Clinton started nine of the ten games during the campaign and was a constant in Milan’s Under-19 team, who advanced to the UEFA Youth League final the previous year.
While waiting, the 20-year-old participated in numerous of Milan’s Serie A matches last season as a member of the matchday squad, gaining important experience under manager Stefano Pioli.
