There are a number of teams interested in Sam Howell, according to reports.
The Washington Commanders have five picks in the first three rounds of this year’s NFL Draft, which gives them multiple options at the quarterback position. Washington also has an estimated $73.6 million in cap space.
A fifth-round pick in 2022, Howell started all 17 games last season and posted a 63.4 completion percentage, 3,946 yards, 21 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.
Washington could also lose veteran Jacoby Brissett in free agency.
