04:09:43 GMT+00:00, 2021-05-28 – With two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning, Jackie Bradley Jr. hit a walk-off single off the right field fence to score Omar Narvaez from third and give the Milwaukee Brewers a 6-5 victory over the San Diego Padres, who were in town.
After the Padres failed to score in the top of the tenth, Narvaez started the inning at second base. Keston Hiura’s sacrifice bunt advanced him to third. Bradley’s game-winning hit came after Miguel Diaz (2-1), the Padres’ sixth pitcher, retired Luis Urias on a shallow fly to right.
Willy Adames, who was acquired from Tampa Bay on May 21, finished 4-for-5 with four RBIs, including his first big ball since he hit a three-run home run. Milwaukee was able to split the four-game series thanks to two additional hits from Avisail Garcia.
Ryan Weathers of the Padres and Adrian Houser of the Brewers both started with no decisions and gave up one hit apiece. Weathers pitched four scoreless innings, giving up two walks and five strikeouts. In five innings, Houser gave out four walks while striking out one.
Detroit was defeated by visiting Cleveland after Shane Bieber pitched a no-hitter into the seventh inning and Eddie Rosario drove in three runs and launched a two-run home ball.
Bieber (5-3) pitched seven innings, striking out twelve. Jose Ramirez contributed two hits and two runs scored, while Harold Ramirez had two hits, two runs scored, and two runs driven in. The four-game series was won by the Indians, 3-1.
With a solo home run, Jonathan Schoop broke the no-hitter, and Victor Reyes added an RBI triple. In five extra innings, Matthew Boyd (2-6) allowed four runs on six hits.
In the first game of a doubleheader, host New York defeated Colorado with a solo home run by Jose Peraza.
Stroman walked two and struck out three. This season, in 14 innings pitched against Colorado, Stroman has struck out eight batters and surrendered just one run and six hits.
Despite having a solid outing on the mound and recording one of the three hits for the Rockies, German Marquez (3-5) was defeated. In six innings, Marquez struck out six batters, walked one, and gave up one run on three hits.

After an inning of bullpen work by Aaron Loup (2-0), Jacob Barnes recorded the final out to earn his second save.
Raimel Tapia and Connor Joe contributed RBI singles, and C.J. Cron had a hit and a run for Colorado. Trevor Story, the shortstop for the Rockies, left the game in the fourth inning because of a stiff right arm.
